The Monday report

You will know exactly what we did.

Every Monday, before the week starts, one written document lands in your inbox: what we spent, what it earned, what we changed, what we got wrong and what we are doing next. No dashboard to log into and nothing to chase. Below is a real one.

  • Written by the person in the account, not summarised by someone above them.
  • Yours to forward to a board, a partner or an investor without editing it first.
  • It always ends in decisions, and it never pads out a quiet week.

Curated Chrome was our own brand. We built it, ran it, and sold it in March 2026, so every figure in this document is ours to publish in full and no client account appears anywhere on this page. The sections, the order and the tone are exactly what arrives every Monday. The period is the whole life of the account rather than a single week, because that is the window we can show you end to end.

01

The period in one line

€48 242Meta spend
€140 840Revenue Meta reported
2.92xReturn on ad spend
555Purchases in platform
€253.77Average order value
~€529 000Store revenue at the measured share

Spend went out at a steady rate for seventeen months and the account reported 2.92 back for every euro in. The store banked considerably more than that. Section two is why we lead with both numbers instead of the flattering one.

02

What the platform claimed, and what the store banked

Share of store revenue Meta claimed for itself

26.6%73.4%
Claimed by MetaWhat the ad account reported for itself
Everything elseOrganic, email, repeat, referral
1 December 2025 to 22 March 2026, the only window where a complete campaign export and a full store total both exist.

Meta claimed just over a quarter of what the store took. The rest arrived through organic, email, repeat purchase and referral, from an audience these same ads were paying to build. Neither figure on its own is the truth. Both go in the report every week and we never quietly swap one for the other when it suits the story.

Where the money went

Spend by placement

Instagram Feed€10 439
Instagram Stories€8 455
Instagram Reels€8 288
Instagram Explore€644
Facebook Reels€201
Everything else€411

Return by placement

Feed4.22x
Stories3.80x
Reels3.41x
Explore3.90x
FB Reels1.43x

Feed, Stories and Reels took almost the whole budget between them, and Feed returned the most of the three. Explore is the line worth arguing about: 644 euro spent at 3.90x, better than Reels and almost never given room to run. Facebook Reels at 1.43x is the one we would cut, and it is small enough that cutting it needs nobody's permission.

04

Who it reached

Spend by age

Spend by country, top six

France€2 107
Canada€1 211
Belgium€984
United Kingdom€946

Of the spend the demographic export covers, ninety one per cent went to people under thirty five, which was right for this catalogue rather than an accident of the algorithm. Geography is the open question. The United States alone took more than the next five countries put together, and none of the European markets was ever given a budget of its own to prove itself with.

The two headlines that earned the most per euro are the two that got the least of it: a product announcement at 16.56x on 154 euro of spend, and a positioning line at 3.91x on 838. The discount headline has the best click rate on the sheet and the worst return on it, which is the entire argument against optimising anything to clicks.

Landed cost per unit against the price on the store, excluding shipping and fees.

A report that stops at return on ad spend is telling you half of it. Watches carry the revenue here and the accessories carry the margin: a 44 euro necklace at 84.3 per cent gross contributes more per order than a 300 euro watch at 42.3. That is a merchandising decision rather than an advertising one, and it belongs in the same document as the spend.

07

What we are doing about it this week

  1. Give Explore its own ad set. Four weeks, its own budget, so a placement returning 3.90x stops living on scraps from the others.
  2. Turn Facebook Reels off. 201 euro at 1.43x. It has had long enough.
  3. Two new statics on the announcement angle. The best return in the account came from a product announcement, and it ran once. We want to know whether that repeats.
  4. Push the accessories into the top product set. Highest margin, lowest price point, currently buried underneath the watches in the feed.
08

What we need from you

  • Stock confirmation on the two accessory lines before we put budget behind them.

That is the whole list. Most weeks it is one line and some weeks it is empty, because the point of the report is to take work off your desk rather than move it there.

Why it looks like that

A report is not a status update.

Most agency reporting exists to prove that somebody was busy. This one exists so that you can make a decision on a Monday morning in under ten minutes.

It arrives before the week starts

Monday at eight, not Friday afternoon when there is nothing left to do about it. The weekly call then has something in front of it instead of starting from scratch.

It shows the number that flatters us and the one that does not

What the platform claimed and what the store actually banked, side by side, every week. The gap between them is usually the most useful thing on the page.

Every section ends in a decision

Not an observation. If a chart does not change what we do next week, it does not earn its place in the document.

It says what went wrong

Tests that failed, money spent on something that did not work, and the call we would make differently. You find out from us first, in writing.

A quiet week reads as a quiet week

One line saying nothing meaningful changed is a better report than four pages engineered to look like effort.

It is a document, not a login

Plain, readable, and yours to forward to a partner, a board or an investor without having to explain what they are looking at.

And then the call

The report does the facts so the call can do the decisions.

  • Thirty minutes, the same slot every week, with the same people who wrote the report.
  • Nobody spends the first fifteen minutes reading numbers out loud, because you already have them.
  • You are never waiting a month to change direction on something.
  • Skip it whenever you like. The document already did the work.

The next step

Ask us for one about your account.

Send the brand and the channels you run. Before anything is signed, you get a written read on the account in roughly this shape, so you can judge the reporting on the reporting.

Start a conversation
Day 0

You send one short note

The brand, the channels, roughly what you spend. Two minutes of your time.

Within 2 days

We read the account and write back

What we would change first, what we think it is worth, and what it would cost. In writing, free.

Week 1

We take the work off your desk

Audit, measurement, structure, feed and creative. You approve, we build.

Every week after

Report on Monday, call the same week

You always know what we did, what it earned and what is next. That never changes.
